Hi, I'm Burhan.

I am an innovation and technology-driven Fintech Professional with a background in Islamic Economics. Driven by my passion for the digitalization of finance since my academic years, I have taken an active role in various end-to-end processes—from the ideation stage to the successful launch of innovative fintech products.

I began my professional career with the Macellan and Macellan Superapp projects. Subsequently, I led the product development processes for Goldframer, a fractional art investment platform, right from its inception, laying the fundamental building blocks of the project.

Currently, I am continuing my career within the Open Banking and Financial Technologies team at Vakıf Katılım. In this role, I:

• Ensure the implementation of our bank’s BKM (Interbank Card Center) products,
• Execute marketing strategies for our API portfolio,
• Manage API integration processes with third-party companies, primarily CBRT-licensed (Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey) E-Money and Payment Institutions.

Concurrently, as part of the Product Owner team for P@ket, our bank’s Fintech-ERP transformation platform, I am responsible for the product’s development, implementation, and management processes.

Beyond product development, I previously managed the fintech newsletter ‘Fintek Havadis’ to keep my finger on the pulse of the industry. This experience allowed me to closely monitor and analyze both local and global fintech trends.
